Running at Meydan today, prep for the World Cup next month.

It's not a bad race, with Master Of Hounds, Dubai Prince and Mendip among the other runners.

I'm going to have a bet on Pisco Sour in this race. He won at Royal Ascot last season, and by my own calculations ran an excellent speed figure that day. He also won his next race in France but has been rested since. So a long lay-off to overcome, and the draw is not in his favour either, but 13/2 is too good to resist.

I went against him. I thought there was a lot to like with a few of the others.
Prince Bishop looked good but I went with Firebet looking for a price.
