Just read this story in a newspaper--A prop bet was made at the MGM in Vegas by some guy for $1k on the first score of the super bowl being a safety. Odds were 50-1 so he ended up taking home $51k. If anyone can find a link feel free to post it. Pretty nice score.

I was thinking the odds should've been at least 50-1. But maybe its not as unusual as I thought. The first score in the Giants/Falcons game last month also was a safety.

Would be easy to calculate what the odds should be if you had access to the stats; if it happens less than once every 50 games, then the odds are too low.

Call was right, but that was the first time I ever saw intentional grounding on a throw right up the middle of the field.

Shows how the Pats were not even trying to throw deep in that game.
