Not many composers worked as cab drivers and plumbers and had a moving company.
I had heard his music in a couple of film scores. Interesting guy.

While he is among 3 or 4 of my favorite composers, I didn't know about the moving company or the plumber aspect either until I read that article.

That Qatsi Triology is one of my all-time favorites.

My discovery of his music was when I saw Koyaanisqatsi. Both the images and the music were captivating.
