On the other hand, I was watching an old ABC Pro Bowlers Tour show on You Tube from the 60's, and laughed really hard when they said that if any bowler shot a 300 game on the telecast, they'd get $10,000 and a Cougar! (Ford/Lincoln Mercury sponsored prize.)

No wonder I always wanted to be a Pro Bowler when I was younger! What a way to celebrate!

These fake Cougars, the horny MILFs, are giving Felis Concolor, the genuine ones, a bad name. Cougar, puma, catamount, painter, mountain lion; all different names for what is pretty much the same animal wherever it is found. As a person with a major interest in wildlife, much prefer cougar to the more commonly used mountain lion. They are not lions and live in many habitats besides mountains. In Spanish speaking nations they are almost always called pumas.

Sad to hear that POT, she was one of my faves in her genre.....Man, she could sing jazz blues all day long....I have much of her work...I still listen to her and smile about it, from time to time....

Cougar is perfectly acceptable. I imagine some of these Utah moms (mormon?)
didin't want to wear a shirt or cap that said Cougar. Too embarassed.
