This is a question for anyone with a database that they can query.
What is the average and/or median Win Payoffs for winners of Starter Allowance races (in particular the $5,000 starters) as compared to all other races? (Or to particular types of other races, if you like. You can make this in as general terms, or as specific terms, as you want.)
What about the exacta payoffs?
The question I am trying to answer for myself is how much of an impact those horses have that are talented and competitive, but have also managed to qualify for the starters and are now cashing in regularly.
