View Full Version : Fox Football Camera Coverage

I am getting so sick and tired of Fox using that damn camera that hangs on the wire above the field.
Especially on live coverage (vs. replay)

The view behind the quarterback has his receivers the size of ants. (because of the wide-angle lens)
And they used it the other day to show a touchdown run from the 3 yd. line.
That is akin to showing the horses hit the wire (in a photo), by using a head-on shot !!

The normal camera view from the side is there because IT IS BEST !

I also noticed that the Fox game the next day (on the other side of the country) was done better. Obviously Fox has a particular director in the "truck" that is making all these hairbrain decisions for the games that he does.

And this is not even mentioning that almost all announcers don't have enough sense to shut the **** up when the ball is being snapped.
That's because they feel that their yaking is so much more important than the game itself !

I guess it shows horse racing isn't the only sport capable of bad camera work on national TV.
