...but...but...but...is it one turn or two turns? I have exactly ZERO of these races in my database and I don't have the DRF with the groovy little diagram.

They actually run the distance quite a bit at Hollywood. Churchill is another that runs the distance around one turn.

I remember that Hollywood originally wanted to run a one turn mile, but it required two finish lines. I think the jocks got confused enough times that they did away with it and used the original finish line, thus the 7.5 f distance.

holly park for a short while did run one turn miles and they did have two finish lines and sometimes the jocks did get their wires crossed and the one turn mile was short lived.

I believe some of the early BC Juvenile races at Hol were one turn miles, I'll have to look it up. I don't think the races were short lived at all, I think they were around for quite a while.

The 1985 and 1987 Juvenile BC races were one turn miles at Hollywood. I was able to find one turn miles in the PPs of Criminal Type as late as 1989, but none any later than that. In the opposite direction, Hol was running them at least as early as 1950.
