Bragging rights contest - no prizes

I was just in the car and listened to the typical sports talking head who has all but given the Super Bowl berths to the Packers and Patriots. So typical.

First off, if the Ravens win today, which I believe they will, I think they will win outright over the Patriots. The Pats and Packers both have the same problems. They are teams with great passing games who struggle to run the ball, and have major issues with tackling. The Packers at least have a few big-play guys on defense but they give up too much yardage.

The Packers, IF they get by the Giants (and that is not a foregone conclusion) will have their hands full with the 49ers, who still get no respect. Last years Packers team was much better defensively than this year's edition, and while their running game wasn't great last year, it was improved in the playoffs. Between the Giants and Niners, I think the Pack will be watching the SB from home (as will the Patriots).

Really looking like its setting up for Harbaugh vs Harbaugh Super Bowl.

The "NFL is a passing league" fallacy will get further exposed next weekend as the Ravens will take out the runless, defenseless Pats, leaving the golden passing trifecta of Rodgers, Brees and Brady all at home watching the SB on their couches.
