TVG Contest

As most of you probably know, TVGnetwork is having a handicapping contest tomorrow. You can pre-register at TVGnetwork. Does anybody have a clue as to how this thing works. They say that they will give the contest info once entries are taken for the races, but don't even tell what card or cards are in play. What's even more strange is that they have a section that lists their Talking Heads' picks, but race and horse #. All that's missing is the track that the races are for.

My thinking is that since all of the entrant's contest selections have to be submitted within 30 minutes of post time for the first contest race, it would be nice to be able to handicap the races tonight.

Has anybody played their contest in the past that can give me the scoop?

For some reason, TVG won't take my business from Oklahoma, even though every other American based system will. Therefore, I'm not eligible. Doesn't really matter, I have no need to pay them $20 a month when everyone else is free.

Do you have to be able to wager by phone to play the contest? If that's the case, then I'm not eligible either. When I originally signed up for TVG, they said that I couldn't wager. It seems that the contest should be fair game since the wagers are "mythical." You should give it a shot - from what I've seen you're a good 'capper and would do pretty well (much better than me).

You don't have be able to wager by phone or be able to place your entries on the TVG web site. The selections are made on a NTRA site. Once you sign up, you are directed to the entries (by email).

All entries have to be in before 3:10 EST.

I'm not sure I was clear in my earlier post but there are two contest going today. The first is sponsored by TVG and the 2nd is from Hoosier Park contest. Sorry for the confusion.
