12.73 posts per day, every day, for 10+ years.

Regardless of whether or not you think it's a good or bad thing, you have to admire the amount of contributions he's made to the website over the years.

Congrats to Tom on the big 50,000 mark!!

Tom's achievement on this--outstanding.

Mike Smith--he's getting closer to win # 5000.

Tom beat Mike to the wire.

I didn't know he was that far along. Makes the rest of us look like pikers.

Mr. 50,000...I like that!

Tom's been here since the very beginning, even during the first two or three versions of this board that subsequently crashed and I lost all posts...so really, he has many more than 50,000...

You may disagree with him (and many do), but you gotta love him...always speaks his mind, and is never hesitant to criticize those in the political spectrum with whom others would think he would never dare to criticize (meaning, he's open minded unlike others who would never dare to criticize "one of their own.")

Thanks for sticking with this site all these years Tom! Hope to see you again one day at the Spa!

Google has things called site links, the top search result in Google also has some subtended links deeper into the site that they automatically select.

For a long time if I googled PA the site links were:

Horse Racing Message Board
Horse Racing Forum
PA Downs
Search
and ...

Tom

Google basically considered Tom his own category, on par with the other forums here.

And many of them showing the best humor on this forum.
Keep up the good contributions Tom.
It's a shame that he now uses a spell checker. Previously his posts were classics a la Leo Gorcey.

It's going to take more than a couple of crashes to get rid of me! :D
This year, I'm coming for the weekend, so save me a seat.

(I do miss the old food fight threads, though......we had some very good times here back in the day! To bad they are gone.....it was always fun to go back and read them)

Yeah, Grayfax, no more speeling errors for me!

Mr. T. is the 'go-to-guy' for clever wit. Without fail the cat makes me laugh on a regular basis. I'd float him an emoticon or two to let him know his wit has cracked me up again but it upsets the likes of cj & Serling. They're sensitive about innocuous things.

Viva La Tommy. Three cheers!

Even if I wanted to criticize the left, there is no need to here. That's a full-time job around here by more than a few posters.

Having said that, I agree with you. Tom's fine whine is all-encompassing.

My hat is off too, Tom!

(Mack, that pic is great!!)

Is anyone databasing Tom's posts? We can break it down and see where his strengths are and encourage him to post in those threads only...ya know...to maximize his value :D
We don't want him going "Terry Wallace" on us

The queries could be:

funny posts
very funny posts
rip roarin hilarious posts
just plain old griping :p

Congrats Tom

I toyed around with the idea of making #50,000 be this video, then not post for a week or two.

A early Merry Christmas to Tom for also posting a few winners during the year, and to all on this BBS for making it merry as BBS as well!

Whether i agree with Tom or not, and it's rare that I don't, I always read his posts. He's one of the few that can actually be wrong about something and still make it sound good.
Thanks for being here, Tom.

Tom may not always be right-- I mean he may not always be correct; he is always right-far right, but he is always entertaining. Congratulations to Tom, serial poster extraordinaire.

The more I think about that, Google has it right.

And, gosh, I remember Tom when he was a piddly 10,000 poster. Those were the days, eh Tom? ;) :)

Congrats to Tom and to PA for this somewhat auspicious milestone.

You Num Nut! :D I actually sat at Sam Houston with BigITM for a few hours one afternoon. Quite nice in person.

Perhaps your nick should be MostPosts.

Wilt very likely misplaced the decimal point by two places, and even that is a generous concession. Tom is documented.
