An maiden claimer for 2yos, and they draw a whopping 5 runners. Hollywood is actually going to run this race! What a joke that place has become. They run 5 days a week, 8 races a day most days, and this is the best they can do?

I know this is unrelated but this race is the perfect example for the thread about why pars are important to know.

Here we have a Maiden Claiming Race where none of the horses have even come >close< to a $50K MdnClm par.

Princess Malice has no starts, decent workouts, good genes and a respectable trainer who wins 37% of first timers.

Too bad she's 6/5 right now.

I guess they have the interest, wierd huh??

SA and GP just around the corner.

If Gill isn't back at GP should be a great meet.

Mike Gill is "working" So. Califorina, claimed 52 horses since last week in Oct. Moved out of CRC to N/E area 2 weeks ago, won't be running at GP until lawsuit is settled. Meanwhile GP's barns are full, CRC's barns are full and Palm Meadows Training Center has 1600 horses on hand, should be one of the best meets at GP in a long time. Went up to Palm Meadows Training Center last week, saw Funny Cide from afar, he is in Barn 16, stall 1, you can't get near him.

Regardless what you think of Magna or Frank Stronach, when they "finally" decide to do something right Palm Meadows Training Center is a good example, a show place. When Stronach decides to sell GP for 5-8 times what he paid for it, he'll build stands at PMTC and attract all the rich from Palm Beach County.
