:5: Mom's Cayoke can barely run at all which puts her right in the thick of this turdfest. 3rd off the layoff, currently 8-1 and should be about 7-2 to 4-1.

Unbettable race in my opinion unless you just want to play for value, and while she probably needs a pace meltdown and probably won't get it here, she still seems like the only one in this group that even remotely offers fair value.

Ah well, Buds N Roses ( :6: ) goes off at 4-5 and gets that elusive maiden win in career start number 26... and it's only December at Turf Paradise... :D

Yikes... Hard to argue that Atta Boy Roy isn't the best in the field, but 1-5 currently and I'm not exactly sold that two turns is his best lick, expecially in a race with :6: All Saint - who was horse of the meet last season winning 4 stakes in determined front-running style. Even Hezamazing tends to show excellent speed routing and he's no slouch, which makes it hard to swallow 1-5 or anything close on the certain favorite.

I'm not sure who is going to blink going into the first turn... but something tells me that :3: Rule By Force is sitting on a solid performance with Diodoro entering two in the race to make it go and scratching the other. 3-1 is hardly the type of price I'd like to see if I was going to bet him, but anything north of that at post time beats the alternatives if this race runs with the type of fractions that seem inevitable.

Good betting race... I like your trio here, but would probably end up keying the :2: 1st/2nd with just about as many others in here as I could justify.

Woohah, nice call on :4: River Slaney... off at 9-1 and runs huge with a nice ride, unlike about half the other horses... including an inquiry and disqualification that was never mentioned until after the official...

RACE 9---4-7-11

Alrighty... this is another kind of fun race with no clear-cut horse to beat. I was interested for a while in :1: Shamus On Me here as a key, but after watching Jake almost get dropped in the grass race... sort of apprehensive to assume he's gonna skim the rail from off the pace on this one... so...

I do think that :12: Lil Stormin Torie is probably the one to catch... not thrilled taking the outside in a full field making a short run to the turn, but this mare usually breaks well and could get clear enough to work down to be no more than 3 or 4 deep.

Seems like a decent spot to key her 1st and 2nd in a trifecta with :1: , :4: , :7: , :10: , :11: for a couple of twenties and hope things shake out cleanly and look for a $120 to $350 casher.
