Was having a discussion with a friend today about how many absolute whale type players exist in racing. I would consider that million dollar types...

I was saying I thought there were less than 100 in the US...he disagreed.

Any thoughts?

I have no idea but I think it is a lot. Assume there are 50 tracks you can bet on per day with 8 races pe card for 360 days a year.

Million dollar players are guage by how much they shove thru the windows. If I did my math right that comes to about $8 per race.

I am guessing there is a lot of million dollar players.

Although they never seem to join me at my table! :D

It's more than 100 but it's fewer than 5 figures.
