BRIS contest on Saturday--prize for top PA performer

The annual Brisnet.com Handicapping Challenge (http://j.mp/t1bLLi) is this Saturday, and in addition to prizes for the top 15 performers (including a $1,000 cash prize for the winner and a seat to the NHC for the top performing Tour member), Brisnet.com will also offer a $100 cash prize to the Pace Advantage user with the top score regardless of overall finish.

The Challenge is open to Brisnet.com members, and registration is free. To participate in the PA "side squeeze" simply reply in this thread with your first name, last initial, and location. Of course, feel free to share some handicapping advice as well.

Ultimate Past Performances and Daily Selections full-card analysis will be free for contest races. PM w/ any questions, and good luck!

Chris S. (aka STRINGMAIL) of Campbell, California, wins the Brisnet.com Challenge Pace Advantage "side squeeze" with a score of $92.60--good for 47th out of 1,964 players on Saturday and good for first among this group and the $100 prize.

Chris was one of 100 contest players to select 42.2-to-1 Izzie's Gold, which was the only capped payoff of the day. Here's hoping he bet that one to win as well!

I wish I could say that I put money on the cap horse. Sadly, I failed to notice that the race had run when I started to check on the various tourneys that were running on Saturday.:bang:

Separately, it was nice to see Bris running a NHC qualifying contest again as I think is has been a few years since the last one was conducted.
