USC is #1 in the most prestigious polls in the country. And they get beat BY A COMPUTER. How much sense does this make?

First off, I agree, USC got screwed. But, if they win in the Rose Bowl they will get the AP championship and issue rings and there will be a split championship. Fans of two teams will be happy.

It's just not the the end of civilization as we know it.

One might consider that even after last night's game, the Sooners are still statistically ranked No. 1 in scoring, total defense, pass defense, passing efficiency, and No. 2 in pass efficiency defense, and No. 3 in scoring defense.

Prior to K. State, they had only trailed for something like 6 minutes all year.

LSU has outstanding defensive stats also. USC leads in net punting and turnover margin.
