With the action shifting to Florida and the inner track at the Big A now is a good a time as any to ask the question above.

I know this was covered in a previous poll but if there are any tidbits even simple ones how you wound up in then the black would be appreciated. Nothing ventured nothing gained. I wouldn’t expect a single sole to divulge their trade secrets.

For me it was Woodbine the track plays fair, the product is good, plus they have their own video feed. The one angle that proved successful was jockey/trainer ROI just yesterday there were two wins out of three plays. Strangely they involved Patrick Husbands who cashed at 2/1 and 5/2 while also running out in his other race.

I would also like to thank Hoof local knowledge is an edge in my opinion.

The cruelest probably is Keeneland I’m just not smart enough to do well there.

Churchill was probabally the worst. The Breeders Cup drained me. I have several tracks that I do very well at: KEE, SAR, GP, SA, TUP, TP, Aqu,inner track, TDN, PID, TAM, GG. It's hard to say which is best.

This year I really had great success in Chicago. I have always been pretty decent at Hawthorne, but since the surface switch at AP, I have struggled. Somehow, I put it all together there this year, and did really well.

On the downside, I have apparently forgotten how to pick winners at Belmont. I do well at Saratoga, and very well at the Big A, but I would have a hard time cashing tickets at Belmont if they let me bet the replay.

Saratoga as she is the cruelest of mistresses. Way up early and took it all away late. Still not out of that tailspin.

Belmont and Woodbine been good.

been playing Remington lately, just a little. But on a percentage basis. This is my get out track........too bad the gimmicks have such small pools

AQU and GP are generally my most successful tracks that I play and 2011 has been no exception. My worst results have been Keenland. Tough track for me.

Delaware which had been good to me in the past robbed me blind this year. Tampa was pretty good last winter. I didn't bet much there but Prairie Meadows, of all places, was pretty good to me when I did. It was year that I could never get a handle on any of the higher class tracks like Belmont and Gulfstream.

Woodbine by far was my best track.
Other positives:Arlington, Remington, Calder, Finger Lakes

particularly bad this year: Keeneland
in fact for the fall meet I laid an egg. zero winning tickets and I played every day. I play only supers so it's somewhat understandable given the short meet and the large fields and tough races, but still.

Keeneland & Monmouth were really bad for me this year. Also, I've had a really hard time with the synthetic surfaces in general. That's why I don't play them anymore. I've done really well at Mountaineer & Hawthorne this year, and also doing well at a couple of the other winter tracks like Fair Grounds & Delta Downs, where I went 4 for 4 (win bets) last night. Historically, I've done fairly well at Aqueduct. So far this year, it's been just about average. I can't say the same about Gulfstream though. It's always been a pretty tough track for me to figure out.

This year was the first time since I have been playing for 8 years that I was way ahead wagering on my home track Colonial downs. I handicapped ( and wagered ) the best I have ever done over the summer but have since fallen off after the spa meet.

Best and worst was the same track,Churchill Downs. They took back half the money I won in the fall from the spring-summer meet.

Tampa Bay,Belmont,Saratoga,River Downs,Beulah were all good.

I rarely play Keeneland but cashed every bet I placed there this year.

I'm still mentally recovering from the Breeder's Cup.I felt like I was a stranger to a game which I was on top of all year.I haven't felt like that since December 2002.

I don't keep records by track (maybe I should), but 2011 overall was very cruel. I think the advent and preponderance of synthetic surfaces has been my downfall lately.

I like this method of ranking so excuse me for copying...I don't play all these regularly, usually only AP, HAW, KEE/CD, GP/TAM in winter.

HORRIBLE: DMR, MNR, CT, Breeders Cup, OP

TERRIBLE: AP(poly), CD(spring)

BAD: AP(turf), BEL

best... Tampa.. started slowly, but had 32 day straight of positive outcomes [some not very positive but just the same i came home with more than i left with]

Delta.....For some reason Brisnet speed and pace numbers just seem to work well

ellis....speed pops when well defined by figs worked well

worst....Belmont, both spring and fall, completely leave me baffled

saratoga, except for a few stabs with bombs, it would have been the worst

also had positive finishes @ GP....LRL...Oaklawn {where all my play was around two trainers in spot action. otherwise was hapless there]

AQU has paid the best.
BEL has been the worst statistically.

KEE has gotten the most money from me if you count non-betting activities.

Every year it's different for me, but typically I do best at Saratoga and on the Aqu Inner dirt.

The higher quality racing and larger amount of dead money in the pools at Saratoga suit me perfectly.

The occasional inside speed bias and more numerous trainer plays seem to do the trick at Aqu in the winter.

2010 was great.
2011 was a disaster.

Tracks that were cruelist----take your pick.
Tracks that were kindest----the ones I didn't play.
