Maybe the terrorist aren't as devious as I think they are, but are you willing bet people's lives on it?

I got the full magilla flying out of SFO a couple of months back.
Damn rookie couldn't do the search properly, and thought he felt something on me, so he radios for a supervisor to search me - which took forever.
The rookie didn't even have some code to use on the radio for a potential alert - called it "a situation", or something to that affect. Bush league.

Lucky I had plenty of time before my flight, or I'd have been very p.o.ed

Reading things like this confirms that my decision to drive everywhere, and to avoid commercial airline journeys unless it becomes absolutely necessary due to circustances, was a wise one. Have not flown in many years. Long slow lines, TSA, declining airline service, boorish behaving badly other passengers, etc. convince me that the indignities of modern air travel are best left to others to endure. Should I have to fly, with my "attitude" there would be about a 50/50 chance that I would end up in the clink. :rolleyes: If I did not punch a TSA agent I might then get in a brawl with some Alex Baldwin type while airborn. Best to stay firmly on the ground.

Am all for profiling, racial and otherwise. This nonsense of searching Caucasian great grandmothers is the height of absurdity. We have someone that could very quickly train us what to look for; the Israelis. From what I have able to gather, they are very good at profiling, and know just what to look for, and waste little time with low threat passengers. Of course the Obama administration has strained relations with Israel and would never ask for their expertise in this matter, so the utterly assinine PC nonsense goe on.

We need to profile just like they do in the Airports... train or bus stations in the Middle East.
