This morning Beth was cooking bacon. I was in my office and that wonderful smell permeated the entire house. Suddenly, every smoke detector in the house went off.
No visible smoke - half a dozen smoke detectors screeching at once. And they would not stop! Reset and silence did not work on any of them. We tried everything! Beth opened all the windows and ran our 6,000 cfm fan. I finally had to take every smoke detector down.
Did I mention that it is like 20 degrees outside? Same thing inside, now.
And the bacon is cold.
