LRL Turf Season Over

Today, it was made official; there will be no more turf racing at Laurel in 2011.

The last carded turf race - Wed., Nov 30th Race 6 will be off the turf -- handicapp accordingly.

Based on how much it rained today the turf course might still be soft in April.
Not surprised that turf racing is done for the season here.
