It's a duck stuffed into a chicken stuffed into turkey. http://www.cookingchanneltv.com/recipes/chuck-hughes/the-legendary-turducken-recipe/index.html

Any one ever actually prepare this item?

This year, the economy will dictate a new version of turducken - a rat inside of a squirrel inside of a pigeon.

I think Grover would settle for a rat head in a Coke bottle. Though, I have not idea how to cook it.

Okay, I admit it it! I am hooked on the idea. So, it is really good, huh?

I am going to pitch Beth on the idea of getting one of these for Christmas dinner. We always do prime rib and ham but maybe this year I could replace the ham with this.

Prime rib and ham? What are you, a communist? Why not just go with a turkey...LIKE A REAL AMERICAN!!!

That's why they call it "turkey day"...

LOL - Beth shot this one down in a hurry.

She said that I was welcome to cook such a "creature" (the word she used) if I really wanted to, but that she was doing her famous prime rib and ham.

The emphasis was on "I could cook" - as in ME cook - as in NOT HER.

She also pointed out that the oven would be a little crowded for 3 birds, what with the cow and the pig already having a reservation. Then she made some wisecrack about getting a room...

She was in rare form.

So, being in full charge at my house - I am the boss, you know - I have decided that I really don't want to try it this year.

Talk to Schwartzy

Best was last ChrisEve. Guy starts a thread about where he could 'get down' a bet on the Oscars.

You are correct, sir. A virtual no-brainer with that competition.

Sooooo, I guess the answer to the original question is no.

"The King's Speech" definitely gets my vote but that's worthless b/c I did not one of those other movies.
