- I had amnesia once -- or twice.

- All I ask is a chance to prove that money can't make me happy.

I'm not a fig plucker, I'm a fig plucker's son. I pluck your figs until the fig plucker comes.

I watched a PBS American Masters' look at Woody Allen's career last night. Some of these sound like his brand of humor early on. :)

I didn't realize Woody Allen was channeling Bob Hope and Groucho Marx all those years.

Woody Allen was a very funny stand up comedian before he started making movies.

Yeah, his movies suck. Then again, maybe they don't 'play well' in Nebraska.

Woody Allen made a couple of decent, but not great movies early in his career. The few of the latter ones which I have seen all stunk out loud in my opinion, but I know several people who think they all are great. We have an "art" theater in Lincoln that plays things like Woody Allen movies. I doubt that a Woody Allen movie has played in a "regular" theater here in 30 years. Of course they all play on some cable channel from time to time. Isn't the world of hundreds of cable channels wonderful?
