The trustee liquidating the broker-dealer business of MF Global Holdings Ltd. on Friday fired the unit's 1,066 employees effective immediately, according to a statement from WSJ.

150/200 staff will be rehired to help with the wind-down process, including the handling of claims on the collapsed firm's estate.

Just ...in an X Dem. Gov work in progress, after he screws the people from
N.J.
Might make a rooming mate for Berney Madoff.

I have a good idea what the 1,066 terminated people feel the MF stands for.

At least it is a hedge fund and not a bank. None of crooks at the banks we bailed out never indicted.

MF stands for Man Financial.

Man started life in 1783 as a barrel maker by the River Thames in London.

Took that cretin John Corzine less than 2 years to run it into the ground.

Yeah BUT

That money was the retirement savings of people who wanted the Safest Place They could think of. They didn't buy bond or gold funds, they bought the actual Certificates. Anything safer would be in Tom's Vault.
The fact that MFGlobal moved these and not dollars shows an intent to avoid the usual CFTC audits of customer accounts. This was intentional theft, not an accidental transfer.

Think when the-Corz became a 'Billion-Bunny-Bum' he was into "the Market", which gave him credit (BS) to become Gov of New Jersey, which he then turns into a Junk Yard BankRupt Mess, again, with other peoples money.

Now we see his Fall-guy taking the stand,Limbo-how-low-Abelow.:bang:

Yepper...and he puts IT right in front for everyone to see, just like our friend Madoff.

we've had a bundle with FishbellieBill, Madoff and Corzine, fine, but how/why do we have to listen to the President of the USA put Blame elsewhere.
