"WASHINGTON -- A conservative-leaning panel of U.S. appellate judges is upholding President Obama's health care law as constitutional, helping set up a Supreme Court (http://www.foxnews.com/topics/politics/supreme-court.htm#r_src=ramp) fight.

The U.S. Court of Appeals in Washington issued a split opinion Tuesday upholding the law. The court agreed to dismiss a Christian legal group's lawsuit claiming the requirement that all Americans get health insurance is unconstitutional and violates religious freedom."

I guess this overrules the judge in Florida that it was unconstitutional.

Supreme Corporation will probably rule to not overturn the appellate court panel's decision. After all, the pharmaceutical and healthcare corporations have their profits built-in.

Different circuit than the Florida case. Doesn't overrule anything, but conflicting rulings from different circuits make it more likely that the Supreme Court takes up the case.

i am not sure about the federal health insurance bill, but in mass. there is a provision where if you don't purchase prescription benefits you get fined $3000. i think that is not constitutional. how can they force you to pay for something that you might not want to stick in your body? if they paid me $30,000 i wouldn't take those drugs.

SS and Medicare have been deemed constitutional long ago. Why not this law?
