Crist in his blog last night said he hit the early pick 4 a few times,

4:10 pm: Caleb's Posse confirmed what a superior one-turn racehorse he is with an electrifying victory from far back to run down Shackleford and win the Breeders' Cup Dirt Mile.

Caleb's Posse returned $15.60 and completed an early pick-4 that paid $7141 for $2. Yes, I pressed the AAAA ticket a little.

Caleb's Posse, a 3-year-old Posse colt bred and owned by Don McNeill and trained by Donnie Von Hemel, has a career record of 8 for 16 but is 4 for 4 in one-turn dirt races and 3 for 3 with Rajov Maragh, who rode him with supreme confidence. His explosive late move today was similar to the ones that carried him to victory in the Amsterdam and the King's Bishop at Saratoga, where he ran down the comebacking Uncle Mo in the latter.

Good stuff!

Does anyone find Ticketmaker helpful?

I don't follow him or read his stuff

But it looks like he hit the all-all-all-all button

Which isn't necessarily, "good stuff" > ticket maker not needed in that case

No, the "A-A-A-A" refers to his "A" plays in each race, meaning his top choices (sometimes more than one in a race) won all four races.

An A-A-A-A ticket is not all-all-all-all.
Crist rates his contenders with an A-B-C-X with the X being a toss out.
The A's will figure more prominently than the B's when he configures his multiple tickets, and the B's more prominent than the C's.

Crist would never play an all-all-all-all, or advocate it.
He'd be broke also.

It might not be that crazy for the Breeder's Cup!

I like the ticket maker to construct pick4 wagers, but I do not use the drf pp's so I haven't used it in a while. His A-A-A-A is exactly as The Hawk described it is his top pick(s) and as he explains in the ticket maker information and his book/dvd exotic tickets Crist usually crushes the ticket when all A horses come in.

An all-all-all-all ticket in that P4 sequence would have cost $15,876 for a $1 ticket (9x9x14x14) and his $1 P4 payoff would have been $3570.50.

Huge loss

I know of course, just a little sarcasm. I'm pretty sure just blindly betting all horses at 20 to 1 or over still shows a profit for the BC. I'm sure you could find some blind BC plays in the P4 that show a profit as well.

For some, that would have been a better result!

the winners that steve assmussen sent out were all bet with confidence. i don't think that guy ever worries about other horses. he knows what it takes and how to win on saturday afternoons.

How would that second P4 have worked out?

Listen you...i don't have time for these math games! :D
Besides, after losing $12,000 on the first one i would have taken a swan dive off the Twin Spires roof.

I see Crist hit Saturday's BEL Pick 6, $16K. Not the biggest payout of all time, but still not a bad day.. ;)
