Two dumb ass moves today. First, he doesn't challenge on an obvious touchdown with about 4.5 minutes left. It winds up costing him a solid two minutes of clock.

Second, even after pissing away two minutes, there was no reason to go for the onside kick. There were 2.5 minutes to go and he had all three time outs left. Horrible coaching by the so called master.

on that play brady did a no huddle and ran a play very quickly. for what ever reason. NE scored what 1-2 plays later.

He did no huddle, but it wasn't quick at all. There was plenty of time to throw the flag. It was painfully obvious in real time it was a TD, to everyone but the official I guess. It cost over two minutes of football time which is a lot of time.

Bill has made a few coaching errors this season. That game vs Buffalo he called a timeout near the end of the game when the clock was stopped that absolutely killed them. If he didn't do that they would have got the ball back

It's more the guys upstairs call especially if he didn't get a good look at it. If they didn't contact him the timeout is worth over 40 seconds he was caught in a quandary. If he saw it then it's all on him.

As far as the onside kick goes that's more of an indictment of his defense he probably thought "I'm not getting the ball back". If the Steelers only get a field goal they can still tie with the 2 point conversion. He also thinks he is the "genius" that could have entered into his mindset.

I will say that the Steelers did a GREAT job neutralizing Hernandez and Welker. The last two years Brady looks a little confused with new defensive wrinkles he hasn't seen much before.

It was 23-17, a field goal ends the game two pointer or not.

I better give up on this one the safety was after.

Belichick did not make a bad TO in that game. The problem was the announcers had no clue what was going on.

Buffalo scored a TD on the first play after the 2-minute warning. They reviewed it, and ruled down at the 1-yard-line. So the clock would have started, that's why he called his first TO when the clock wasn't running. The announcers had no idea about the rules.

Overall, I've said this about Belichick for the past five years. Until he gets some legitimate assistants on his staff, he will never win anything, Brady or no Brady. Take a look at his coaching staff since Weis and Crennel left. These guys are lower-tier college assistants, hardly any NFL experience. They won't challenge Belichick on absurd decisions like the onsides kick.

The amazing stat CBS revealed was the Pats haven't recovered an onsides kick since 1994.

On a completely unrelated note Belichick was on sports radio the other day, they somehow started talking about horse racing: Drives me crazy when people have no clue about horse racing. Convo went like this:

Michael Holley: What is the name of the race at Saratoga every year?
Bill: Ummmm
Michael Holley: The Preakness?
Bill: No the Breeders CUp
Michael Holley: Yes. Thats it.

Q: You mentioned that you guys didn't get a good look on the replay in the booth. You don't have control over that, right?

BB: That's right.

Q: Do you wonder why at a crucial time like that you couldn't get a good replay?

BB: I'm coaching the game. I'm not running the replay booth.

Replay or not, it was so obvious a touchdown the flag should have been tossed out there. At that point in the game it was worth trying. There was plenty of time and even if he loses there are still 2 timeouts and 4:30 to go. In any case, it is on Bill. He is the boss. If you take credit, you should also take blame, or you aren't much of a boss.
