Race 6
7 MUSICAL CHIMES is 20-1 on the morning line?? This horse ran a huge race 2 back running its final 4 furlongs in 45 and change closing on a slow pace then tossed a dud in the BC Fillies. How is this horse 20-1 on the morning line? HEAT HAZE is certainly the most consistent. DANCAL could be a bit of a sleeper
7-11-3

Race 7
6 WIMBLEDON comes out of a key race at Del Mar. 5 DWANGO is 5-2 on the m/l but will probably be 6-5 or so when they load into the gate.
6-5

Race 8
4 MENUHIN may test the theory that the Northern California horses Beyer numbers have been too high. The horse ran a 101 last time but beat two heavily bet Del Mar shippers to do it. 1 SNORTER is Frankel and fits

4-1

Race 9
3 SILVER TREE has impressed me since his Mdn win at GP. He beat Kicken Kris in Virginia and KK came back to win the Secretariat. 9 KICKEN KRIS looks solid. 6 FORTUNE WRITERS was hurt by the slow pace last time out; could be value at a big price. 4 ALBERTO GIACOMETTI ran a solid race against Dalakhani earlier in the year.

3-9-6-4

Had the top 2 reversed in the Matriarch but a box still got the $59 exacta. I see McAnally ran 1-2 in the Hollywood Derby with the 16-1 shot winning and the 4-1 horse second. Nice job on the 20-1 morning line Musical Chimes, who went off at 5-1.

Valuist,

Who had Musical Chimes @ a 20/1 ML?

All I saw was 5/1

Must've been in the Form since it was 5-1 at Equibase.

Actually it was off an overnight sheet I got from the OTB. I had always thought they had the correct morning line but apparently not. It probably was generated from CDI, not Hollywood.
