REALLY:bang::mad: would've loved for R'AMON to have jerked UNDAUNTED ELLA'S REIGNS left a few times... she didn't change leads, and if she had soon after entering she had a better chance of at least "flattening-out" rather than stopping. It can be very surprising how much a energy we can see sway one way or another, and foreign riders will occasionally persevere purposely on the "wrong lead" due to a chance to persevere. RAMON is generally among the better riders on the lead. While he isn't a master at changing leads, I can't complain much here because if he cost the horse 1.5lengths, he may have GAINED the horse .5-2.5 lengths over the course of that race with his fine riding from the gate, and soft hands. Unfortunately the 11? or one of the others needlessly attended the pace prematurely in an unexpected pace pressure move which also contributed needlessly to Undaunted Ella's demise and possible tired her just enough to contribute to the failure to change leads.
