Taking The day..and doing what? What else. Playing the Ponies.
Race 1.
Cannon in G.
So They did'nt bring her to Saratoga... Comes back after 90 days and she gets smashed at the break in a race she figured to do nothing in anyway off 3 months with bried AM excercises.
Then 2 expirements. Turf 8 panels, Then a Muddy 8 panels against this group that was to far and too wet...and its ugly.
Then a Nice effort going 6.5 at Belmont. That race fits here. Then she toss's a stinker going a Mile at a Higher tag than today as was the nice 6.5 @18K claimer. In today at 16,000.. lowest level of career.
I touted SS scribble today in the Finale at 40-1 and he ran third. SS exits that same stinker race and Cannon in G beat him a Nose.. SS stepped up to 23K purse today and Ran himself on to the ticket at big Money and would go at 5/2 in here if this race was next month.
Phony speed in here... Suffolk Horse (6) no where near as quick as the Suffolk races appear... Look back at his Winter Fall NY numbers and he's a Slow poke.. Phony Paper.
I'm thinking I can get a 23.4 here.. or better.. and Cannon In G Runs a Race . May 30th Belmont effort tommorrow at noon. Just a Thought.
Race 2
I'm telling your right now.. ONE of the best Colts on the Grounds CANNOT break his maiden and get it going because HE blows the start over and Over..
Bluse skys ahead. Proven Loser. 0 for 13. and I have bet him probably 9 of the 13. This from a Player that hates Proven Losers. But This Guy can run like the wind... this is a race horse.
In addition to Causeing his own problems at the gate.. he was 2nd in Open Maiden allowance races to:
Empire Maker---Indy Dancer (both TC nominated), Grand Lucenino.
And faced other Toughies like the Jerkens Colt, Dr, Walsh.
This Guy is a Future Stakes winner if he can get it going at the gate tommorrow. At a ML of 8-1 I'm putting Good money after bad and diving in one more time.
I like the 4 and 8.
