The $2 payoff was listed as $543,899. Since the entire SF pool was only $73, 611, is it a safe assumption that only TWO dime tickets, each paying over $27,600 took down the entire pool?

That would be correct. On the NYRA feed after the race, neither the $2 payout nor the $1 payout was shown.

That makes sense, handling it the way the NYRA feed did. I was getting my payoffs from BRIS. Thanks.
