I'll rephrase a joke that has stood the test of time.

The NCAA got so mad at Auburn for all their violations they decided to suspend Tennessee-Chattanooga for 3 years.

With the impending termination of the NCAA probably within a decade they will do everything in theur power to placate the super conferences. In doing so there's a slim chance their executives keep drawing huge paychecks.
