Got a feeling this Belmont undercard is gonna be chalk city or bomb city. Some races look a little too cut-n-dry for my taste...let's go against the grain:

Belmont R2:
#3 Precious Metal - gets his pace, should be a handful late, not much value
ML: 4-1

Belmont R4:
#4 Pico Dinero - should get a very nice trip, if Mott dropper isn't right this guy inherets the lead turning for home, may just hang in there for a slice.
ML: 10-1
#6 RJ Hope - no pace last time but closed very well when the real running began (after a 1/2m), positive jock switch for barn having a nice meet so far, deep closer more likely underneath than for the win
ML: 10-1

Belmont R6:
I smell a boxcar payoff here but haven't a clue who to go with. Mott has another big dropper in this one...gonna see how his horse in R4 does before committing here. Don't like the Pletcher rail horse. If these two run badly this race will pay.

Belmont R9:
#4 Power World - looking for a price underneath, forgive the sloppy track in last and he can run on for a piece

This is one I think can totally fall apart.
The #4 looks like a fig standout but he has a good chance of getting caught up in a war...swangin for the fences and playing a value exacta:

:1: :11:
:1: :2: :4: :8: :11: :12:

Okay, small saver with the :1: :11: under the :4:
:)

Bomb win bet saver on the :12:

Just capped the late pk-4. Not sure if you're a pk-4 player at all but any thoughts? Here is what I came up with...yet to draw a firm conclusion...

7) Casino Host looks like squarely the one to beat here to me. Obviously the layoff is a bit of a concern but it's hard not to trust Chad and while this ones best runs have come going longer it's hard not to consider singling here. The main threats to me are Seal Cove and Western Aristocrat. Seal Cove, I think, is better than the figures suggest. Two back went really wide in the bog and was moving well when regaining stride. Last race was an oddly run one went Desormeaux made that crazy move before the turn. Would have liked to see some type of running there but not sure what to make. The 5 is just an oddball and I just have to respect the connections.
Wilkinson, Brilliant Speed and Sky Blazer all seem possible as well though. Brilliant Speed I'm against simply on price. Wilkinson I could see being sent, same for Sky Blazer, either of which could be plenty dangerous.

8) This is my favorite leg of the pk-4 as I feel very confident that Stopshoppingmaria is better than My Miss Aurelia. Seems more likely to rate, was extremely impressive in the last and when they first met not only did SSM stumble at the start, but it was only at 5.5. MMA did not improve with added ground in last and imo the second place finisher was best. Spare Change I will use in case a duel happens and it falls apart. Like that this one came on well in the slop in the debut passing horses in the lane, though never threatening the winner. Last race improved with an added furlong and you never know, might move up on a fast track.

9) Another where I think I have the two chalks figured out. To me, Union Rags is much the best when compared with Alpha. I admit that Alpha's race was visually impressive and the finish makes you think this one will only get better with the added ground. With that said, there was absolutely no speed in the race, Alpha sat the garden trip behind the only phony speed and while did draw away, I'm not sure what was really a threat in there. Union Rags on the other hand showed an ability to rate (albeit at 5F) in debut...and was really forced to gun from the rail in the last. Seems to be as good as you like. The intriguing "others" here to me are No Spin, Power World and Invocation. All three have proved capable of rating and making big moves. No Spin, a smallish horse, got a brutal trip going this route at Arlington in the last. Don't think Tim Ice would ship up here without intentions on winning. Power World crushed home in debut, was a bit close to a fast pace in 2nd, ran well finishing 2nd to Overdriven in the next and had major excuse in that oddball sloppy Hopeful last out. Perhaps most intriguing of all to me is Invocation. Doubting the 20/1 ML but this one closed nicely in 6F debut and covered tons more ground than Alpha after breaking last when they met in last. Was not exactly getting to Alpha there but the extra furlong can only help, and won't have to be ridden as wildly here. Love Cohen's chances to pull an upset here.

10) Really not sure. Originally felt like using the 2 and 10 would do it. Upon further review though struggling to leave out the 7, who seems right there and at a better price, the 3 who just might shake loose and the 5 who seems like a wildcard.

Frizette and Champagne look chalky.
Maybe a shot with Seal Cove in the Jamaica..???

Yeah, Nack Attack was on fire.

I didn't play it anyway, but MMA would've cost me what really was not a hard pk-4 to come up with. In hindsight Union Rags, as I kind of thought, was a big single, if you did that it would not have costed much to play the logical ones and hit a 350+ .50 pk-4.
