i noticed it yesterday for today but looking at today for tomorrow, i noticed the same thing, the fields are, dare i say.. BIG. in every race.

There is a CHRB meeting taking place as I type this reply.

In the very beginning of the meeting, there was some items discussed for the upcoming HOL meeting. A point about the request for running 5 days during the last two weeks was made about horse population and whether or not the extra day might result in race days being cancelled due to small fields. It was asserted there were more horse this year but no explanation as to why or how that came about.

I guess we should just be thankful for small favors.

seriously if the fields are like this i have no problem with 5 days. this isn't half bad at all. they have horses at least for now.

Ive seen AE's for the first time in non claiming races for the first time in i can't remember how long.

The TOC and the CHRB happened. They can't compete for customers.

On Sundays Roger Stein show listen to the beginning of the show. It's Lou Raffetto leaving a voicemail for an owner who signed the petition. In my opinion he's lying to them and trying to get them to withdraw their petitons. He also implies that someone may have forged their signatures. The T.O.C. is as low as it gets.
