I'm going to try something different with this thread. Starting with a bankroll of $200. Going to list my best bets of the day with plays of $10WP with the plan of reaching at least $1000 by the end of the month. Here are the picks.

Belmont Race -6 The :1: at a juicy 8-1 on the morning line starts off this little experiment. Drops in class for a 20% trainer move. Flashes speed when last seen as Saratoga in Aug. Gets in light with the bug boy up.


Santa Anita Race -5 I like the :1: in here as well at the same nice 8-1 on the line. Claimed 2 back when flashing speed at Dmr. Makes 3rd start off the bench for a 13% trainer move and add an additional 14% for 2nd off the claim starters. Bullet work on Sept 30th and Rosario takes the call.


Santa Anita Race -6 The :4: at 4-1 is my play here. 3rd time off the shelf for Hofmans an 11% move. Goes 2 sprints to a route and adds blinkers for the first time stretching out. Drops into maiden claiming for an additional kicker.


Hoosier Race -2 The :7: is my pick here. Turfway Park shipper hung as the betting favorite last out and this trainer hits at 33% with the beaten fav next out. Switches back to the dirt for a 14% AW to Dirt trainer. Has speed and picks up hot jock Thompson for the ride. Lots to like at 6-1 on the line.


Hoosier Race -8 I like the :8: here also shipping in from Turfway for Brown. Beaten favorite led a long ways last out on the less than speed friendly polytrack. Nobody riding better than Thompson at the moment.

Had a good start to this program yesterday with 5 plays and a profit of $65.50 for day 1. Here are the picks for day 2 before scratches. I will update for those later.

Woodbine Race -1 I like the :6: at 3-1 on the line. Owned and trained by Assmussen and goes 2 sprints to a route today for a 17% trainer move. Drops down one level for another 23% move. Has speed on the stretch out and that's a winning style at this track.


Woodbine Race -4 The :1: is my selection here at a nice 6-1 on the line. Was claimed to back off the nice debut going 5F with some good early speed. 2nd off the claim trainer hits at 12% with the move and drops back in with friends today. Catch if catch can.


Belmont Race -6 My numbers point to the :4: running a huge race today for Tagg. Returns to the dirt today after 3 poor attempts at making this one a turf runner. Bred to be a dirt sprinter and finally gets back to that today. Trainer 16% turf to dirt. Nice work in the slop Oct 3rd. Lots to like.


Santa Anita Race -1 I'm picking the :10: at 8-1 on the morning line. Claimed by Mullhall last out and she hits at 29% first off the claim. Jumps up in class looking for a spot for another 25% move. Stalker should sit a good trip from this post.

Santa Anita Race -8 The :7: at 9-2. Reunited with P. Val for this. Dmr shipper takes a slight drop in class for a 15% trainer move. Stalker should sit a nice trip in here.


Remington Race -1 The :5: at 5-2. Delmar shipper for Richard who hits at 24% when shipping and 19% with new horses in the barn. Switches back to dirt where he had his highest Bris speed figures to date. Worked twice since last seen. Lots to like.

Keeneland Race -2 The :3: . Takes the big drop from MSW to Mdn claiming today for Shug who hits at 17% on the move. Stretches out for the first time which is another 12% move. Lots to like here.

Hawthorne Race -3 The :5: . Morning line choice at 5-2 looks tough in here for Rivelli. Goes sprint to route for a 27% trainer move and also drops down a level for another 23% move. Has good stalking speed for the stretch out.

Hawthorne Race -4 The :3: . A nice juicy 8-1 ML on this pick. Ran huge 3 back going wire-to-wire at a mile in the maiden breaker. Last 2 races include a Yld turf try. Gets back on the main track today and has a good shot to lead these.

Woodbine Race -9 The :3: . Career maiden trys hard each time and may have caught a field he can handle. Owns the top fig of the group for low percentage outfit and gets back on the poly after a good turf try.

Hawthorne Race -8 The :4: . Tanner and Bernt get together on my pick here at 5-2 on the line. 3rd start off the shelf for a 16% move and he hits at 21% when wheeling right back after losing as the favorite. Slight drop in class for the win.

Santa Anita Race -6 The :7: . Love the price of 8-1 on the morning line for this Miller trainee. Ships in from Dmr after showing a couple speeds and fades against the bias of that track. Freshened up for this for 14% layoff trainer and adds blinkers for another 20% move. Catch if catch can.

Laurel Race -2 The :4: at 9-2. Goes 3rd time off the shelf today for a 15% trainer move. Double drops in class looking for the right spot for another 43% move for Woolley. Has serious speed and adds the blinkers today too. Lots to like here.

Laurel Race -4 The :1: :1a: at 3-1. The :1: ran 2nd to a monster in the mud last out. Has some speed and goes 2 sprints to a route for an 11% move and gets the hot riding Sarah Rook up. The :1a: is a stone cold closer in case the race falls apart.

Parx Race -7 The :2: at 12-1. Here is my bomb for the day. Preciado owns and trains this one turning back to a preferred sprint distance for a 23% move. Career high Bris speed figure came sprinting also. Lots to like at price!!

Monmouth Race -9 The :6: at 5-2. Just missed when flashing speed in the mud last out for Serey. Will lead these a long ways again and hope to hang on.

Had a small setback yesterday losing $50. I still have a profit of $163.00 on my way to the goal of $1000 by the end of the month. I have 11 plays today so this could make or break the run. Here are the picks..

Delaware Race -2 The :3: . Prob not going to get a very good price here on this Andrade trainee. He hits at 23% after winning last race and 29% dropping one level. Looks like the one.

Keeneland Race -3 The :2: . The great Keeneland trainer McPeek send this one 3rd time off the shelf for an 18% move. Returns to the polytrack after 2 turf tries for 29% turf to AW trainer.. Highest Bris figure came at first asking on the poly.

Delaware Race -5 The :2: Takes the blinkers off today for a 25% trainer move. Tied for the highest figure at this dist and we get 8-1 on the morning line. Needs a well timed ride.

Thistledown Race -5 The :5: . Tries claimers for the first time for Cowans who hits at 33% with the move. Turns back to 6F today for another 48% move. Nice work Oct 4th. Lots to like here.

Hawthorne Race -4 The :4: . Takes a double drop in class today for Miller who hits at 26% with the move. Goes turf to dirt for another 13% and should improve on the return to dirt.

Delaware Race -9 The :4: . 8-1 on this Nunley trainnee who double drops in class today for a 27% trainer move and he hits at 14% with new horses in the barn. Castellano takes the ride.

Keeneland Race -8 The :2: . Woodbine shipper broke his maiden last out for Frosted who hits at 20% right back off the win. A bullet work best of 75 on Oct 2nd signals this one is setting on a big run.

Keeneland Race -9 The :9: . 8-1 on this Hoosier shipper for Kendrick. 3rd time off the shelf and going 2 sprints to a route for up and coming outfit. Takes a slight drop in class for a 67% trainer move.( 2 out of 3 small sample). Owns 1 win and 2 2nds at Keeneland out of 4 starts.

Hawthorne Race -8 The :1: . Ran a huge figure 3 back in the maiden breaker and appears to be rounding into form after the route try and return to sprint last out. Goes AW to dirt for a 16% trainer move.

Hawthorne Race -9 The :1: . Getting 8-1 on my selection here. Nice work Oct 1st at FP going 5F. Returns to the dirt today and back in with statebreds too. Getting off the speed favoring Arl strip should flatter this one's late run.

Remington Race -2 The :1: . 12-1 on the morning line for my last pick of the day. Tries turf for the first time for Milligan after a bunch of solid dirt tries. Jumps up 2 classes to get in this race for a 16% move looking for the right spot. Some things to like.

Yeah I saw that too. But like the speed figures of this one and anytime a trainer is trying something different. I think thats a bonus.
