NYRA got the big races Saturday and Sunday from Longchamps for wagering via NYRA Rewards plus on track wagering on the Sunday card

http://www.nyra.com/belmont/stories/Sep292011.shtml

Great set of races. Can't wait to have a look and see if I can find a few good ones. Besides, can watch Goldikova live.

I was speaking with a guy who works with a major ADW this summer at Saratoga and he was telling me inroads are finally being made to simulcast a much broader amount of racing from France in coming years. Don't really understand all the issues involved, but hopefully someday soon we here in the States will be able to play other big days from France with ease.

France and Hong Kong would be nice.

Can you bet Hong Kong where you are? Through www.racebets.com for example.

I don't know of an ADW that has it, but that doesn't mean there might not be one. I've only got NYRA Rewards and Twin Spires, but never seen it on either and not interested in having more. Those 2 are big enough that one would expect one or the other to get it eventually if it is available in the States.

racebets.com is right out. I just clicked on your link and got this...

Pretty sure they have some economic centres in canada that can play Hong Kong.

I would also be very surprised if it were "impossible" to play HK in certain areas in California USA, although the legalities may be strained.

TVG has the timeform card (both co's owned by Betfair)...looks like the German horse, Danedream, is only a length or two off So you think and Sarafina, and he's currently 30-1 on Betfair.

Not quite 7 furlongs, about 10 yards shy.

Downhill most of the way

Downhill to the stretch. Stretch is slightly uphill and in 7f races is longer than the normal Longchamp stretch as they run to a different finish post.
They also don't have a run-up like in the US, they are timed from the gate.

Arc ....

So You Think could turn out to be an amazing 5/1 shot.
It's a very deep field however. Sarafina, Reliable Man, Snow Fairy, Galikova, the Japanese duo, Workforce, Masked Marvel, they all hold a realistic chance. The German filly Danedream can't be ruled out either.

In the end, I landed on Meandre 14/1 for the win, and Treasure Beach 33/1 E/W. Treasure Beach is a good horse, and will like the ground. The draw isn't great but the price is.

Treasure beach is 50/1!!!

A horse that was only beaten a short head in the Derby by Pour Moi. Had Pour Moi not been retired, he would probably be the favourite for this race.

Watching on HRTV it is harder than hell to get a good look at the horses.

So far, #7 and #10 has caught my eye in the warm up.

Bon chance.

Holy moly....Shareta pays $223.20 to place...50 cent tri pays over 23k.
The 10 cent super only pays $4.93 because it paid off in the last 3 spots as ALL-ALL-ALL...if someone could have picked the 2nd place finisher they take the whole pot.

Interesting but not important: the email notification had the info nicely formatted but the web page shows it collapsed. Yuck.
