Going to give Calder a crack of the stick today. Main track is Good and we are off the turf today. Same betting pattern. $20WP and roll the pick 3's for the dollar at $27 each. The picks..
Race -1 I like the :6: at 8-1 on the ML to shock the betting world in the opener. 3rd time off the layoff and 2 sprints to a route for a 20% trainer move. Good price too. :6: :4: :5:
Race -2 MSW's greet us in the 2nd half of the double and my number point for a big run with the :1: . Inside post tough in these short sprints for Fawkes who always has his horses ready to run. :1: :6: :2:
Race -3 Tabbing the :8: on the outside to have a much improved run 2nd out for SHaw who hits at 25% with 2nd career route races. Adds Lasix for another 30% move. Doesn't have to improve much to beat these. :8: :5: :3:
Race -4 Another nice price on my pick here at 6-1 with the :5: . 3rd time off the layoff for a 21% move and double drops in class for an additional 17% angle. Now or never time, caught the right group. :5: :3: :1:
Race -5 Off the turfer here and I've landed on the :6: who runs his race regardless of surface. Positive jockey switch today to Saez signals a good try coming. :6: :7: :8:
Race -6 A huge class dropper for Calabrese and Canani with the :1a: is hard to looks past in here. Canani hits 39% with new horses in the barn and this one looks like a winner. :1a: :3: :4:
Race -7 I'm landing on the :5: here at 4-1 on the line. Ambitious try in the stakes race off the shelf and got hammered. Back in with friends on the cutback to a sprint for a 17% trainer move. :5: :11: :6:
Race -8 Off the turf as well here in the feature. I'm going with the :2: off the shelf at 12-1. Trainer hits at 22% off with the layoff move. Bullet work on Sept. 22 signals readiness. :2: :4: :1:
Race -9 The Lucky Last and I'm going home with the :1a: . Saez rode the :10: last out and elects to ride the :1a: in here. Trainer SAno hits at 24% when right back after losing as the favorite last out. :1: :10: :7:
