"The health-insurance premiums employers pay rose sharply this year, with the average annual cost of family coverage passing the $15,000 mark for the first time, according to a major survey.

The 9% average increase, reported in an annual poll of employers performed by the Kaiser Family Foundation and the Health Research and Educational Trust, comes despite a continued trend toward more limited use of medical services in the U.S. Last year, family premiums rose just 3%, the survey found."

OH oh oh...least we forget ....s

"State and federal taxes are rising for employers across the U.S. as states struggle to repay federal loans for unemployment benefits, including more than $1 billion in interest due Friday.

The increases in state and federal unemployment-insurance taxes—paid primarily by businesses—are hitting as the recovery appears close to stalling, consumer confidence is low and unemployment remains high at 9.1%.

These tax increases come on top of measures intended to tame government budgets, including other state tax increases and spending reductions as well as federal cuts. ""

"U.S. Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman Adm. Mike Mullen has long been seen as Pakistan's closest friend in Washington. "
"He visited Islamabad 27 times since 2008 in his role as America's top uniformed officer, cultivated a bond with the Pakistani army chief of staff and early in his tenure said he believed Pakistan was serious about plans to take on militant groups that the U.S. wanted shut down."

"But in recent months, Adm. Mullen said in an interview with The Wall Street Journal, he concluded that the partnership approach he long had championed had fallen short and would be difficult ..."

Due to Pak's involvement with our troops in Pak, with our money.

they lied about every aspect of Obamacare except when they said that we would have to pass it to find out what's in it.

America is like the contestant on Let's Make A Deal who just risked everything on door #2 expecting the grand prize then when they opened the door discovered it was the booby prize.

That's what we got, a "booby"....:D ...

Americans should've watched Dave Schwartz's video on the art and science of picking a door, before they voted last time out...:D...(actually, not funny in reality. tho)

You're behind the times with that headline, Skate. The latest rally I saw, the signs just said "CHANGE". They've given up on "HOPE".
