As always I'll play $20 WP on my top selection and roll the pick 3's for the dollar for a total wager of $216. Races 1,5,9 are off the turf. Race 6 stays on. The picks..
Race -1 Off the turf in the opener and I've landed on the MTO :12: in here. 3rd time off the shelf for Violette who hits at 22% with the move. Has speed on the cutback to 6F with the Bug boy up. :12: :10: :13:
Race -2 My numbers point to the :8: here. Vazquez sends this one over with Saez in the saddle. looks to get a good stalking trip vs these. :8: :1: :3:
Race -3 Scratches of the :2: and :5: leave us with a streamlined field of 4. I'm going with the :3: on top here. Other half of uncoupled Pletcher entry ships in from Mon for 24% 2nd off the shelf trainer and 25% when winning last race. :3: :1: :6: :4: (Using all in the pick 3 here so I don't get beat by the one horse I'd leave out)
Race 4- 25000k Claimers going 6F in here and my figures point to a huge effort by the :3: . Jacobsen trainee looks to have a pace advantage over these and should give a good effort at 10-1 on the ML. Bombs away!! :3: :7: :5:
Race -5 Another off turf affair here and I'm going with the :10: at 8-1 on the line. Has an out and now returns to the main traick for 17% 2nd off the shelf trainer Mott. Has the breeding to handle the switch back to the main track. :10: :9: :12:
Race -6 The 3rd Martini Stakes stays on the turf and I'm touting the :10: . 2nd off the bench for Brown who hits at 30% with the move. Castellano rides and he's proven to handle the off going in need be. :10: :8: :7:
Race -7 I'm touting the :5: to pull a slight upest here at 8-1 on the ML. Engelhart sends this one out off the freshening and he scores at 30% with that move. Also goes turf-to-dirt for another 37% angle. Lots to like at a good price. :5: :6: :1:
Race -8 I like the :7: in here at 10-1 on the ML. Castellano elects to ride here instead of the :5: . Lost all chance at Saratoga last out when checked at the 3/16th pole. Excellent 5F workout on Sept 18th for this. :7: :5: :2:
Race -9 The Lucky Last and I'm going home with the :6: in this off the turf affair. Looked impressive winning last when claimed by Schosberg. Bullet work on Sept 13 indicates a big effort coming. :6: :9: :1:
