Although on air personalities were stating that the pools were higher than the guarantees, the usta site has a different figure.

Seems to me the fair took it on the chin in those two pools...this from the same management team that decided that $5,000 was too much in production costs to send out their signal on Sunday and Monday last year (same as this year).

Wager Type Numbers/PayoutsPool
Exacta (2-8 $116.40)$8,905
Trifecta (2-8-7 $918.00)$17,875
Superfecta (2-8-7-6 $4,298.20)$6,014
Pick 3 (2-5-2 $22.60)$8,253
Pick 4 (2-2-5-2 $94.00)$20,616

By my calculations, this cost them over $24k in payout guarantees (based on the 15 percent retentions).

Bob

USTA numbers aren't making any sense

Here's what I recorded from the ADW

Check USTA total WPS number for Race 16 $216,889???

........Actual?.................USTA
R3 P3 12902.................6386
R7 P4 52037................19958
R13 P4 60360...............20616
R14 P3 23488................8253

Maybe USTA has pic3 and pic 4 accidently divided by 2 ????

Guess someone who did the reporting was not up to the task at the fair site or someone at the fair working for USTA was sending the info in and like all people who end up at the Delaware County fairgrounds, might of had a little too much to drink by the 16th race...

Just didn't add up...

Which ADW permits you to access those individual pools?

Thanks Ray for the input..

This might be an "On Track-Off Track" Handle reporting difference. The USTA charts gives:
Total Handle: $1,415,616 Attendance: 49243

The record books show:
Record Jug Day Attendance
56,129 (1997)

Record Jug Day Handle (off track)
$2,122,258 (1994)

Record Jug Day Handle (on track)
$2,063,942 (1999)

If so, then the numbers attached may be for On-Off track combined, as r'cd from Tote
