We will play a little different at Remington tonight. We'll keep playing the $20WP bet on the top pick, but in the 1st and 2nd races there is no pick 3. I will play a $5 Exacta box with the top 3 in those 2 races. Then I will roll the pick 3's from race 3 onwards.
Race -1 Let's tab a long shot in the opener with the :7: in here at 12-1 on the ML. Flashed speed in first start of the meet and drops in class for a 17% trainer move. :7: :1: :2:
Race -2 15k Maiden claimers in the 2nd half of the double here. I've landed on the :5: for Calhoun with Berry up. Looks to sit a good trip in here pace wise and should get first run. :5: :1: :8:
Race -3 The :4: gets the nod for me here. Making the 3rd start off the layoff and a winner of last are good returns for Smith. :4: :9: :7:
Race -4 The :1: looks like it may be the best of these young 2 year olds. Looked impressive in back-to-back come from behind wins. Doesn't need the lead and that helps here. 3rd time off the shelf for a 20% move and 18% 1st time against claimers. :1: :7: :5:
Race -5 I like the :1: in here for Pish hitting 16% 2nd off the shelf and 20% when right back as the beaten favorite. Solid 3rd off the shelf in last and has worked well since. :1: :6: :3:
Race -6 The :11: looks to be way better than these for Assmussen. 2nd off the bench and goes turf-to-dirt for a 25% move. Also drops in class for another 27% for the heck of it. :11: :4: :14:
Race -7 Allowance horses going 6.5F to kick off the last pick 3 and I've landed on the :1: . Creighton horses have run well here previously and gets Birzer up to ride. :1: :2: :4:
Race -8 I like the :2: at 12-1 on the ML. Winner off the shelf in latest appears to have the best speed closest to the rail here for Duhon who hits 15% with shippers from Evd. Upset city. :2: :4: :1a:
Race -9 The Lucky Last and I'm going home with the :7: at 8-1 on the line. Looks like the lone speed in here stretching out from 7F for 19% sprint to route trainer. Can get brave when left alone. :7: :5: :1:
