Former Cincinnati union president Diana Frey pleaded guilty today to a federal charge tied to allegations that she embezzled more than $750,000 from her former members.
At a brief hearing in U.S. District Court, Frey pleaded guilty to a wire fraud count alleging that she took most of the dues paid since 2005 by members of Cincinnati Organized and Dedicated Employees, the union of middle managers, professionals and technical employees that she helped found and led as president until being ousted after her indictment.
