BEADS BELLS AND RATTLES

Based upon recent discussions that I have had with some of our PA members, I have decided to throw away my entire database of 160,000 horses ( a cost to me

If you want to make money betting horses, its probably the best thing you can do. Not that a database can't help, but I don't think you have learned to use it as a handicapper.

I would like to check out some of it. That's a lot of horses.

Data is a tool and there is more than one way to use it. You've got some firm convictions that one approach to using the data cannot work. You could spend some time thinking up entirely different ways to use the data.

I had cut and pasted the post from WORD, and did a bad job of it,,

Here is the complete post.

"Based upon recent discussions that I have had with some of our PA members, I have decided to throw away my entire database of 160,000 horses [a cost to me of about $15,000), and throw out all the statistical formulas I have pull together over the years, and all my books on risk, randomness, chaos theory, etc., and all my books on horse racing.

I'm just going to use these beads, bells and rattles I found in the basement." LOL

PS and thanks to Dave S. who, after reading the origional post sent an e-mail to me asking me to re-consided.
See, boys can disagree and still get along..
