As always I'll play $20 WP and roll the pick 3's for the dollar bet at $27 each.
Race -1 The :2: is my selection in the opener. Midwest thoroughbred drops down in class for Cox who hits at 21% with the move down and switches to the hot riding jock today. :2: :3: :6:
Race -2 The :7: is where I land here. 2nd time starter for 19% trainer Davis puts the blinkers on today for another 33% move. Drops to the Mdn Clm ranks today and should handle these. :7: :6: :1:
Race -3 Tough little field here but I'm sticking with the :4: . 8-5 ML chioce looked good winning debut and trainer hits 30% right back and 24% off the freshening. :4: :2: :3:
Race -4 Picking the :10: to win this. Improving speed figures every out so far for this Lauer trainee. Stretches out for the first time for a 15% move and adds blinkers for another 11% angle. :10: :7: :5:
Race -5 The :1: gets my attention vs these. Trainer Gary claimed this one last out and hits at 38% first off the claim. Drops down one level for another 15% move. :1: :3: :8:
Race -6 Wide open field of 8 here. I'm landing on the :7: shipping in from AP for 50% shipping trainer. Been freshened for this by a 44% layoff trainer and drops to lowest level yet. :7: :4: :1:
Race -7 5000k claimers field of 7 going a flat mile in here. I like the :4: . Goncalves takes the mount on what appears to be a great race set up for this one. :4: :2: :5:
Race -8 Allowance field of 9 with the scratch of the :5: . The :3: looks like the one to beat here for Short with De La Cruz up. Should get a great trip pace wise and looks like mich the best here. :3: :9: :7:
Race -9 The :2: at 9-5 on the line looks the part here. 3rd time off the shelf for a 33% move for Amoss and 38% going from a route to a sprint also. Lots to like here. :2: :5: :6:
Race -10 The Lucky Last and I'm going home with the :9: who is my best bet on the card. 3rd time off the shelf for 24% trainer move by Daivs. Has speed and drops to the claiming ranks for the 1st time for another 13% move. :9: :1: :8:

I'm a noob. Could you explain the way you are betting these or the way you recommend?
I bet in R1 the 2 to W and P at $10 each and then EXXboxed 2, 3 and 6 for $12 total.
I have no understanding of the pick 3.
Thanks in advance.

Hello and Welcome. Here is a brief explanation of the pick 3.
A Pick 3 is when a bettor selects the winner in three consecutive races, before the first race in the sequence begins.
To win the bet, all three horses must win their race. In the Pick 3 you must come up with the winner in three consecutive races.
Hope that helps a little and good luck!

Thanks!
Does this look correct?
Sep-20 HOS R2 1.00 USD EXX 1,6,7
Sep-20 HOS R2 1.00 USD PK3 1,6,7/2,3,4/5,7,10
Sep-20 HOS R2 5.00 USD WP 7
Or do I just bet one horse in the pick 3 for each of the 3 races?
Should I be EXXboxing the 3 horses?
Really appreciate the help.
Eric :)

The hardest part of this game to me is the betting. I've had days where I've played pick 3's and I shouldve been boxing trifecta's and vice versa. You've got to find which bet makes you confortable on a risk reward basis.

Gotcha but do you place all 3 horses in each of the pick 3 races or just the one you like to win.
Thanks again.

I use all 3 in each race. 3X3X3=$27 bet for each pick 3. It can be expensive if you are having an off night.(like me so far today with the back-to-back 2nds) :bang: :bang:

No worries you'll get 'em. Last question I promise.
When do you rebet the pick 3? After each race if you lose the 1st or after all 3 have past.
My guess is after each lost race....
Thanks

I bet them for the whole card every race. When you get on a roll and hit 4 or 5 in a row, thats where the money comes in. Like for instance here. There are 8 pick 3's on the card. I bet them all at $27 each(3x3x3 for a dollar bet) for a total bet of $216. Now i need to hit some. :bang:
hope that helps

I'll have to keep studying. My site only allows me to bet 3 races at a time on the pick 3. Not sure how to bet all 8(10 races?)
So I now have:
Sep-20 HOS R3 1.00 USD PK3 2,3,4/5,7,10/1,3,8
GL and thanks for the help.
