But the rest of the card is sad.....$1,500 purses. Saw a horse with 120 starts and 22k on his card, average start= $183.00 per. 8 years old. Thats an average of 17 starts a year for that kinda dough. Tough way to go, but Amish race them outta the paddock/from carriage like this, so no real surprise. Just a different segment of the game seldom reaching mainstream.
