It's Fall Classic Day at our local racetrack...i.e. Northlands Park on Sat. Sept. 17/11. I just noticed on their website at www.northlandspark.ca (http://www.northlandspark.ca) , that they are offering a free, past performance track program in PDF form for anyone interested. Post time for the 1st race is approximately 1:00 P.M. (MST).

A nice gesture. Seems to me, it would be nice if more racetracks would make such an offer. If Northlands Park can offer it, why not other thoroughbred racetracks? What is their reason? Is it because of stinginess, apathy, neglect, or a myriad of other excuses?

Northlands Park (unlike a fair number of cheapskate thoroughbred racetracks) also offers free, live video in two formats:

1. ADOBE FLASH PLAYER at this link:

and

2. WINDOWS MEDIA PLAYER (and other media players that play WMP video files) at this link:

looks like several good bettting races

i've already been looking into the futurity and the 4th race, also like the stakes routes...

on the undercard i think the 2nd race is interesting.
There is a lot of speed in the race.

may see the 6 lewisham set a pretty good pace

now if that happens... the 3Cactuscut(5-2) will get a great setup. it will be his race to lose.

Salgado is going to save ground and try to last move them with the 1WAINWRIGHT. (5-1)

The LONGSHOT is the 2 horse Bohicket (10-1)
5month layoff.
I actually had looked at this horse back in his last race.
They had claimed this guy off a 7f win @ tampa.
Then they went UP in class (in for $20k) stretching to a mile on the turf.
They sure didn't get the easy lead they had planned for because he drew outside against an EARLY running favorite,
and it was just a horrendous trip all the way around.
The favorite that day quit as well.
not crazy about the layoff, but like the recent work pattern. if things set-up as expected, he gets a rail trip, and can move right along with the 3.

:1::2::3: may consider a trifecta box here. will look at all pools.

I really like the :1: as well in this race

Also have eyes on the :2: in race 4, the :2: in race 5 and a longshot with a shot in race 7 :5: - has done nothing wrong yet - huge jump in class and distance, but none of the others are anything special
