It started raining Sun and due to the alignment two potent weather makers it has not stopped in 3 days had 5 in today already and now am officially stranded as the roads to our development are 5 ft under and rising. I did not live in PA for Agnes but I imagine this will be very similar. This is going to be very expensive.

Do you have a basement ? If so and your electrical distribution panel is located there, avoid going down there if your basement starts to take in water.

Improper system grounding, can present an electrocution hazard.

Hang in there - keep you and your family safe - you can replace most anything else.

Thanks CJD High and dry for now and should remain dry. The Susquehanna is gonna get very angry. Marietta is supposed to be at 100 yr levels. I lived through the big floods in Des Moines IA in 93 when the Water Plant was inundated and I don't remember rain this hard for so long. Downstream from Williamsport is gonna be ugly and Sunbury is getting hit with both branches. So many warnings and road closures there are gonna be a lot of people stranded tonight. Heres a link for all those affected and will be at the worst time of day.

Isn't that lovely, cancer-causing nuclear plant (Three Mile Island) in the middle of the river in that area?

Let's hope that aging disgrace can handle a "100 yr" event...

4 more inches overnight. Evacuations everywhere 3 deaths, Roads destroyed, traffic is not even moving. If you are traveling any where in central pa please plan accordingly. Still raining not stopping today. Still high and dry and got out last night to get provisions. Records are falling everywhere. Just bad.
