Seriously, they actually need a person dedicated solely to this??? If everybody in the stadium can clearly see what happens on every single replay on the jumbotron, isn't there already somebody on these teams' massive staffs who can tell Caldwell to throw his little red flag?

You're talking about the same coach who thought it was smart to call timeout when the Jets were driving and about to settle for a 45-yard FG with 20 seconds left. The TO allowed the Jets to huddle on the sideline and alter their plan, which led to a big completion and chip-shot FG.

And despite being ripped by everyone, including Peyton Manning rolling his eyes on the sideline and raising his hands in disgust, Caldwell still said he made the right decision because he wanted the Jets to run as many plays as they could because they might fumble.

Here's a scenario. Manning is hurt right now. The Colts have a terrible season, 8-8, miss the playoffs. Manning knows he has 2 or 3 years left. Does he want those years with Caldwell or do the Colts hire Tressel?
