I handicapped that race big time. It was full of pressure (I had it EE/54 (Quirin speed points) and only the 2 and 8 had any closing ability at all. The 2 was also a "reversal horse" for those who recently attended the Oct HM Seminar in LV.

Needless to say , I was into this race big time. The winner I had as a fulcrum throwout and the place horse also figured to be left in the dust after a blistering pace duel. But as the late John Belushi would say:"I could be out selling hash in the streets; but NOoooooooooo!,, the speed holds up and takes ALL my money!"

As it seeminly often goes, the 2 and 8 both must have beem running in a different race... It was the strangest finish I have seen in a long time in regards to basic "expected" handicapping principles. I was playing this race of pace/position more so than any of my numbers; which made the finish even more surprising.

Am I all wet, or are there others out there who handicapped this race and were as surprised as I?

This was one for the A.I. programs. Thoroughbrain TB5 had Bannack as a strong play in this race depending how the software is trained. If looking for priced horses and great value, those using TB5 would have been on this huge winner today.

I did not play any exotics in this race, just played this winner to Win & Place and got back a "package". Once in awhile winners like this will show up and leave the pace handicappers shaking their heads and wondering out load how the hell could this happen--especially since the horse had not run in so long, over 200 days!!!

That's the power of Artificial Intelligence software.

All the best,

Glad you had Bannack too!!! That's why it did not pay 200.00!! This horse as I mentioned was a strong play with TB5.

Hope you made plenty of dough for Holidays!!!

All the best,
