WEEKEND WARRIOR ACTION 11/22

Dear Enigma...

Your "Profiteering" method looks like a winner, but I have a suggestion...

Your results for today were 8 winners for 22 plays (36% hits), bet $44, win $64.10 which leaves a profit of $20.10 and an ROI of +46%.

Excellent, but take a look at this...

Your selections with a morning line of less than 4-1 got the following results...

8 winners for 17 plays (29% hits), bet $34.00, won $18.70 producing a loss of $15.30 and a -45% ROI.

A minimum morning line of 4-1 on your "Profiteering" selections is another story...

3 winners for 6 plays (50% hits), bet $12.00, won $45.40 for a profit of $33.40 and an extremely impressive + 278% ROI.

These figs are only for one day, of course, but there isn't a method in the world that can make money on lower odds horses and betting them for the sake of "action" makes no sense. I'd be very interested to see the numbers you get when you apply the 4-1 minimum ML to your research.

Binder,
Pleased you took a chance with my picks....pity you missed the best winner of the day at Hollywood...$22.00

Dear Jim F,
Can't and won't question your analysis and advice. However, my aim with this method was to provide an approach that would provide a service that the average weekend warrior is looking for. Lots of action, selections that run well, and at the end of the day show a profit. With this in mind the method provides a selection in every race (not maiden races) at each track. Ideally I hope for a 40.0% hit rate, to-date (very early days) the WIN rate is 38.2%, the PLACE rate is 73.5%, and the SHOW rate is 88.2%.
So far a nice R.O.I. of 42.3%. let's hope it continues.
This method picks horses that should run well, unfortunately it can't pick the odds.
Thanks for the interest, your comments are always welcome.
Regards,
Enigma.
