Race -1 1 Mile on the turf to kick off Sunday and we're going with the :6: Looks to sit a good trip on the fence for Drysdale with Gomez up. :6: :3: :7:
Race -2 I like the :2: in here for Sherman with Talamo up. Trainer scores at 22% when back after losing as the favorite. Goes turf to AW for another 21% move and should improve while returning to the main track. :2: :4: :5:
Race -3 The G2 DelMar Handicap gives us a field of 6 to cap. The :3: appears to be a standout in here at a well deserved 6-5 on the line. I'll make the possible upsetters the :1: and :4: . :3: :1: :4:
Race -4 I'm tabbing the :3: as a small upset here with Bejarano up. Closer has plenty of speed to chase in here while making 3rd start off the shelf for 13% trainer move. :3: :6: :9:
Race -5 The G1 Pat O Brien stakes marks the return of The Factor. I think he'll need a race so I'm picking the :5: to win this. Bonde scroes ar 31% when returning as the beaten fav from the G1 BingCrosby. Looks to make amends today with a bullet work coming in. :5: :4: :1:
Race -6 The :4: looks like the one in this turf affair. Loses Gomez in a rider switch with the :3: . My pick is suffering from 2nd itis but I think he gets it done today for 23% trainer after losing as the fav. :4: :3: :7:
Race -7 Heading to the outside here with the :12: . Ran a good 3rd in 1st start vs. winners and takes a slight drop here for a 21% trainer move. Nice workout on Aug 21st signals readiness. :12: :1: :10:
Race -8 Taking a shot with the :1: for Ellis. Last seen winning on the Hollywood turf course. Been working well for this for 19% layoff trainer. Has speed to gain position but looks to stalk in here. :1: :8: :3:
Race -9 The G1 Pacific Classic. Full field of 11 going forward here and I'm calling for an upset here with the :6: at 8-1 on the line. Has an out over the surface when he was the beaten fav. last out and Mandella hits at 30% next out. Been working well for this and only needs to finds 2 lengths on the favorites. :6: :9: :10:
Race -10 Bombs away for me in the 10th. I love the :4: in here at 20-1 on the ML. 2nd career route race for 33% trainer move has speed and drops in class for another 19% move. Lots to like here. :4: :3: :6:
Race -11 The lucky last and I'm going home with the :7: at 20-1. 3rd start off the layoff vs very suspect field here. Has back races to win this and returns to sprinting today. Might make a big show bet here if the price is still right. :7: :9: :1:
