NYRA P6 / P4 Redux

Waited all day for NYRA to take the later turf races on Thursday /( today) off the turf after the rains made the track a sea of slop, but the bastardos waited til the P4 bets were all in to cancel the 789 races off the turf and onto the main dirt/slop. Because there was a surface change after the bets were taken there is an all x all x all for final 3 legs of the p4 and the poor guys/gals who bet into carryover p6 are finding that they are only live to a conso pool as by law 75 % of the p6 pool must be carried over with 3 legs an all. Got that. This is surely mad .

They made the decision after the 6th, I guess they tried to keep them on in lieu of the rules, but maybe the jocks weren't happy after the 6th. Check Andy's twitter, maybe he's said something on it.

This rule is ridiculous. The pick 3 paid $191.00, the pick 6 paid $69.50 (on the same races).

NEVER AGAIN ! wiil i play NYRA when there is any possibility of rain. I am a horizontal bettor and I've had it with their trying to suck very last dollar before switching surfaces and paying to ALL for the p4 They didnot want to lose the take on that pool and they feel they are being fair, but it's not. They can explain it any way they wish but i've had it with them, they are using the rule/law to inflate the handle and save the day at the expense of horse investors :ThmbDown:
